§ 6-71. Permitting child's life, health or morals to be imperiled.

A. A person is guilty of permitting childs life, health or morals to be imperiled who, having the custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the life of such child to be endangered or his or her health to be injured or his or her moral welfare to be imperiled, by neglect, abuse or immoral associates.

B. Permitting childs life, health or morals to be imperiled is a Class I offense.
