A. A parent, guardian or other person who has assumed or been entrusted with the care of a minor, who knowingly causes or permits the endangerment of such minor, is guilty of an offense.
B. A parent, guardian or other person who has assumed or been entrusted with the care of a minor, who intentionally abandons the minor with intent not to return, is guilty of an offense.
